Losing To Find Myself Redux – My Return and My Demise

April 27, 2009

I’m back as you can see and I wish that I could come with happier news. Since my return from Brazil my life has fallen apart since I lost my job and I have gained back about 20 pounds and a member of my family has went back to her abusive husband that she left a year ago..

This week I will start again and get back to my HMR ways and see if I can shake some of my bad habits and lose some weight

  3. Sending you lots of positive vibes and support. You have been going through so much. It is difficult to focus and stay on plan – but you can do it.

Hang in there – be patient with yourself and do not beat yourself up. Take one decision at a time.

    Good luck!

  4. I have been reading your blog but never thought I would respond until today. I had the same thing happen to me after a Labor Day backpacking trip a few years back. I had my day of tears and decided it was my position that was eliminated not me. Be good to yourself.

  6. Missed you! You can do it – it may come off slower this time, but you can do it.
I know how you feel – I gained 8 pounds back after life getting in the way, stress & even 5 deaths in our family, 4 of which were within a 7 day period… tragic & stressful = junk food.
So – I’ve lost 2 of theose 8 pound and am SLOWLY getting things back on track.. you can do it!!!!!
    Keep me updated.

  8. Hey there. I found your website because I was researching more about HMR. A friend of mine has been “doing” HMR for about 1 1/2 years now and has lost about 90 pounds. I was sceptical at first, but she has stuck with it and seems to enjoy the shakes and meals.

I have tried some of hers just see if I like it and it was really good. I have decided to start the HMR at Home program. I just placed my order. I will keep up with your blog to see how you are coming along. Keep up the good work. You have lost a lot of weight.

I hope to lose about 80 pounds. I don’t really have a time schedule….just as long as I keep losing weight. Any weight loss is good weight loss…right?
